Yoga has provided my daughter with confidence and I've noticed her regulating her emotions with a lot more ease. She even tells her cousins to 'just breathe'. I wish I'd learnt these things from a young age and I'm so happy that Calmer Kids provides this opportunity
— SAMANTHA, MOTHER
Helen's knowledge of yoga is nothing short of astounding and this matched with both Helen and Michelle's passion for kids physical and mental wellbeing makes it an incredible training.
— EMMA, YOGA TEACHER
Calmer Kids provides weekly yoga lessons for our two kindy classes. They run a beautiful program each week, responsive to children's interests and needs. After yoga on a Friday, the impact on the children is highly evident.
— JENNY, EARLY EDUCATOR
The workshop was absolutely amazing! Michelle and Helen are so passionate about helping to reduce stress and anxiety in our kids by teaching them and their parents ways to recognise and reduce it. I can't wait for more workshops they host, I just left wanting more.
— KATIE, MOTHER OF 3
The professional development delivered by Calmer Kids last year continues to have a significant impact within our school community for our students and staff. It has been really exciting to see our students using the brain break cards to co and/or self-regulate.
— SARAH, DEPUTY PRINCIPAL
“We were privileged to attend one of the workshops on offer with Helen Boniface and Michelle Cole who are the founders of ‘Calmer Kids’. This workshop reinforced for us the importance of guiding our little ones to gain the tools necessary in life to feel connected, calm, build resilience and to regulate their emotions. For us teachers, in as little as a few minutes we were guided through breath work and meditation. Having just a few minutes to reconnect to our breath, helps us to deal with the many busy moments during our day - keeping our stress levels down. This is such a wonderful tool that we have introduced to our team of educators, reminding them of the importance of self-care. We are truly grateful to have the ongoing support through social media connecting with ‘calmer kids’ on Facebook and via email.”
